Unlike other shops, Shenandoah Decorative Ironworks specializes in custom ironwork
designs. Our design professionals are capable of designing and implementing
almost any ironworks project you envision for your home or business. However,
the main reason you should contact Shenandoah Decorative Ironworks is the superior
craftsmanship of our product. We manufacture our railings with a sturdier ‘cap
rail’, which is easier to grasp in the event of a fall and more pleasing to
the touch. Most other decorative rails are made with a thinner ‘channel rail’
on top. Our standard tube posts are heavy 11 gauge (.120” wall thickness)
compared to 14 gauge (.083” wall thickness) and all of our pickets are solid.
And, of course, our work is manufactured and installed to comply with building
codes.
